I walked into Mien Tay, a vietnamese restaurant on Kingsland Road and asked if I could order a meal and then go into the kitchen to record the sound of it being made. After a few minutes of further explaination of this unusual request, the manager agreed. I ordered the frogs legs and stir fried goat as I knew they were two South Vietnamese meals the restaurant specialised in. I hadn’t eaten frogs legs before but I enjoyed both meals.
